About CTMS

Who we are

CTMS is a specialised Cylinder Tracking Management System developed in Pune, India. We work with industrial gas suppliers, medical oxygen companies, LPG distributors, specialty gas businesses, cylinder testing units and other organisations that manage returnable gas cylinders.

Our team combines software knowledge with practical gas-distribution experience. The system is designed around real workflows at plants, godowns, branches, vehicles, customer sites and vendor locations.

The problem we solve

A cylinder may move through many locations and users during its working life. Without cylinder-wise records, businesses can lose visibility of ownership, current location, return status, rental age and test due dates.

CTMS creates a traceable digital history for each cylinder. Teams can see what was dispatched, what came back, which customer is holding a cylinder and which items need attention.

How cylinder tracking works

• Register the cylinder: Record its serial number, gas type, capacity, ownership and other master information.
• Assign an identity: Attach a unique QR code, barcode or RFID tag to the cylinder.
• Scan each movement: Record filling, dispatch, delivery, return, transfer, testing and maintenance events.
• Update balances: Keep plant, branch, vehicle, vendor and customer stock visible.
• Review the history: Check movements, holding days, rental status and exceptions from one record.

Mobile working for field teams

The CTMS mobile app supports employees who work away from a desk. Authorised users can scan cylinder identities and record operational movements on Android or iOS devices. This reduces manual writing and helps information reach the office faster.

Available functions depend on the organisation’s CTMS setup, assigned user role, device capability and network conditions.

Ownership and location clarity

CTMS can separate company-owned, customer-owned and vendor-owned cylinders. Ownership remains distinct from physical location, helping users avoid incorrect balances when cylinders are sent to customers, branches, filling vendors or testing facilities.

Connected business operations

CTMS can connect cylinder activity with commercial processes such as delivery challans, rental billing, GST invoices and customer ledgers. Supported integrations may include Tally, email, SMS, WhatsApp and other business systems, depending on the purchased configuration and third-party availability.

Security and accountability

CTMS uses role-based access so users see the functions relevant to their work. Operational records, approval steps and audit trails help organisations review who performed an activity and when it occurred. Customers remain responsible for protecting passwords, assigning suitable access and reviewing their business records.

In 2026, CTMS supports more than 150 customers across over 16 Indian states, with a growing presence in South Africa, Australia and Dubai. Our approved operational figures include 21 plants automated and 12 gas traders served.
